Introduction to Bowl Turning

In this class we will start with the preparation of small bowl turning blanks that we cut from found logs or blanks on the Make 717 Bandsaw.

We will sharpen, discuss and use the bowl turning tools provided by Make. A demonstration will follow and attendees will practice the same cuts on their bowl blanks. However, if you own tools feel free to take them along for sharpening and use.

Explanation and demonstration of tools needed will be made as necessary. No previous experience is required.
