A friendly reminder with the intermediate printers:

- If you were certified on the Intermediate printers prior to December 2023 you have been grandfathered into using the MK4s, no quiz or practical required.

- For all other members who wish to use these printers your next step is to take the quiz and take a practical exam to show you understand the training materials.

- *You are required to have 5 successful prints on the Prusa minis prior to taking the quiz/practical.*
- *You are required to wait a two week period after your last certification before you can move to the next level.*
- *NO WALK INS FOR PRACTICALS*

The intermediate orientation is now comprised of part self-taught, and part in-person certification. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Watch the video linked below
  2. Read the document linked below
  3. Take the quiz after watching the video and reading the document
  4. Once you have gotten 100% on the quiz, follow the post test instructions document and schedule a time to take the practical with a MIC
  5. They will give you a file that you must successfully print in order to be certified
  6. You will become certified upon successful completion of that print

Link to quiz. Reminder, you need 100% to move on to the in-person certification process
