Pen Making

Using the Americana Pen Kit from Craft Supplies USA we will attempt to turn two pens. One pen will be made from glued up Dalbergia Sisso (East Indian Rosewood) blanks for the pen as described in the manufacturer’s directions. The second pen will be turned and customized to your preferences.

A selection of stabilized wood blanks will be available for you to choose pen making. Supplies will be provided for making two styles of pens per attendee.

We will use Make 717 tools and equipment. However, if you own tools feel free to take them along for sharpening and use. Explanation and demonstration of tools needed will be made as necessary. No previous experience is required.
