This is the third of four workshops required to be a qualified Tormach user. The cost of each workshop is $100 and must be paid at time of registration. Class size is limited to two persons. Please make sure you are available for all sessions prior to registering.
Participants completing this workshop will keep the machined enclosure, and will receive all the parts required to assemble it. A new end mill will also be provided. (Arduino Uno circuit board not included)
Tormach Workshop 2 must be completed.
There are educational reading/video requirements that should be done prior to the first classroom session. Please refer to the Workshop 3 syllabus and bring your completed prerequisite quiz with you to class.
Fusion 360 CAM tutorials (link to Autodesk website provided in the syllabus)
Create the toolpaths needed to machine the arduino enclosure. Start with the file that is labeled "student copy". It contains the XYZ zero, stock size, and tool library but none of the toolpaths. The other file has completed toolpaths that you can use for a reference if you are unsure of what to do. (link to google drive folder provided in syllabus)
